With over 20 years in the industry, Alissyn Schaer started AS/NY Showroom with a mission of expansive collaboration and fostering strong, long-lasting relationships with both brands and buyers.
Alissyn began her career at Whiting & Davis Handbags, a heritage brand that has been in business for over 100 years. Since then, she’s worked with the likes of Beth Bowley, Tracy Reese (fashioning Michelle Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker and Tracey Ellis Ross) and contemporary brand Fifteen Twenty. In May of 2020, with the encouragement of family, mentors, and friends in the industry, she stepped out on her own by forming AS/NY Showroom.
The showroom thoughtfully curates an exciting mix of both established and emerging brands offering development consulting and strategic brand placement. For buyers, Alissyn prides herself on building just the right product mix that suits each specific retail environment. The showroom sets itself apart with extensive regional road travel and relays invaluable feedback to the brands. AS/NY Showroom is always striving for honest, symbiotic relationships that lead to greater growth and success for all.
